Who is Glubbe?

Glubbe is a Fakemon that was created for Project Pokemon by Rue_n. It is a PoisonDark Pokemon with a great Defense and Special Defense, as well as a solid type combination. However, due to its high HP and the ability to use Taunt (along with its lack of a weakness) it can be a difficult opponent to overcome. While it is impossible to severely cripple this Pokemon through bad poison, other forms of residual damage such as burn or Leech Seed may help whittle down its HP and its walling capabilities.

Glubb commanded the Arab Legion from March 1949 until 1 March 1956, when King Hussein dismissed him along with several British senior officers in a move designed to disprove assertions by some Jordanian nationalists that Glubb was the actual ruler of the kingdom. Differences between Glubb and Hussein were mainly over defence arrangements, promotions of Arab officers and funding of the Legion.

Glubb was born in Preston, Lancashire and educated at Cheltenham College before joining the Royal Engineers. He saw action on the Western Front during World War I, and suffered a shattered jaw in battle. He was posted to Iraq, which Britain had started governing under a League of Nations Mandate following the war, where he built roads and airfields and learned to understand the nomadic Bedouin peoples with whom he would become closely involved. In 1930, Glubb began assembling the southern desert tribes into an effective military force, the Desert Patrol.
